Pucker Up.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Pros: the material is just as described: extremely light, cut well, and handles exterior moisture well (inasmuch as I could test). The mesh band is a nice feature, was also pleasantly snug around my waist, preventing 'the gap' that some women dread. On top of all that, the rum raisin color is very flattering, if I do say so myself.

Cons: These shorts are ill-advised for anyone with wide-ish hips. The material puckers and pulls awkwardly, creating an optical illusion at the crotchal region. Yikes. Plus, when fabric is this cinched, it restricts your stride and is likely to put undue wear and stress on the garment. Therefore, not a strategic purchase. Should I have ordered a large? A: not according to the fit guide. The scrambling short search continues.

How to Measure:
All measurements correspond to equivalent body measurements, not the dimensions of the garment. For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Bust:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Sleeve:
Have a friend measure from the center of your back to your wrist.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
