Functional and Good-Lookin'

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This is a classy vest that is pretty warm and packs down small. Nice big dump pockets on the inside, the chest pocket is perfect for a phone, and the hand pockets are fleece lined. Not super puffy, but very clean-looking. Haven't noticed any down loss through multiple washes and heavy use.

MH Vest

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

What i really like about this vest is the style. It is fairly warm and is a good mid-layer but i wouldn't use this in extreme cold.

Works well for the money

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this as a present for my dad, who lives in South Georgia. He is hiking the AT this spring and needed a light warm layer. He’ll never wear it at home so he wouldn’t buy it for himself. For that same reason I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. This vest works perfectly. My dad is going to be warmer and his pack will be lighter than if he had a bunch of fleecy layers. He likes the fit and feels ready to face some chill mornings!
