Kor Strata Jacket

Stay warm while hiking into the backcountry without overheating. Mountain Project built the Kor Strata Jacket with Primaloft Gold Active insulation to provide a lightweight jacket that keeps you warm while still ventilating out excess heat. Mechanical stretch nylon paired with underarm gussets and articulated elbows allow for an increased range of movement that won't be impeded regardless of what activity you're doing. The nylon fabric is also weather-resistant, so when the weather turns you're still protected. But if the weather gets too rainy, you can easily layer a waterproof shell over this and and stay warm without getting soaked.

  • A multipurpose jacket for adventures in the backcountry
  • Primaloft Gold Active insulation traps heat yet is highly breathable
  • Mechanical stretch and underarm gusset provide comfortable mobility
  • Nylon ripstop fabric gives weather-resistant protection
  • Slim fit hugs your body and easily layers under a waterproof shell

Most Comfortable Insulated Jacket I Own!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

I'm very impressed with how comfortable and breathable this insulated jacket is. The stretchy, lightweight softshell material is so cozy, and the fit is perfect for my lanky frame - long sleeves and a fairly trim, streamlined fit. The warmth is pretty comparable to other 60g synthetic fill jackets, but its breathability is really key to how comfortable this jacket is in varying temperatures. In very gusty conditions, I don't feel a draft, but I can tell that warm air is being stripped away a bit. The only real downside to this jacket is the weight - my XL weighs 19 oz. While I don't mind the weight for casual use, I would probably choose a lighter insulator for backcountry use. Overall, I think the impressive comfort is well worth the extra weight and slightly less efficient warmth in very windy conditions. Highly recommended!

Light warm and fitted

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Small

It is a nice warm jacket that could be used all around. It is pretty light weight and has an athletic fit which allows me to put it under rain jacket. Very good finish.

Versatile, Rugged and Capable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

I wear this jacket everywhere. Great for going outdoors in cooler weather or for just taking a stroll downtown. It's fairly light and easy to layer with, plus it won't stretch your wallet as much as some other jackets.

Great fit, great warmth

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: S

Perfect for those looking for an athletic fit and the warmth of an insulated jacket. Top quality finish.

How to Measure:
All measurements correspond to equivalent body measurements, not the dimensions of the garment. For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
