Great Value Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XXL

I bought this jacket knowing that I had a marathon to run... in the rain... in 45-50 degree weather. It ended up not raining, so I did not use this jacket. But I have used it on a few training runs.

The jacket does a great job keeping you warm, and you warm up quick. I am a heavy sweater, so I think this jacket for me would be better if running outside under 32 degrees. The few runs I ran were 35-45 degrees and it got warm quick.

It does dry fast, which was nice.

The one thing I would change is the sleeve cuffs seem to pull out, and I have to adjust the cuffs each time I put the jacket on.

Other than that, its a decent jacket. Worth the price Backcountry.com had it set at.

Thanks for the review, Matthew!

Its not very light, but is warm enough to running at 14 C degree, with a baselayer. The fit is awsome.
