I do not think there is a truer definition of Every Day Carry than the way I use this jacket.
As a college student I'm always on the run, and moreover as a college student with no car, I am literally always on the run. As an active layer, this jacket does a tremendous job of maintaining warmth as well as regulating moisture, making it an essential layering piece in my outdoor arsenal. I've used it as a layer underneath a ski jacket on a snowboarding trip, I almost always layered it underneath a down vest over this winter around town, and now as spring approaches I'm still using it has a standalone layer. The active stretch makes it terrific for all the activities I use it for; I almost always get around on a bike, I've gone rock climbing in it, I wear it every morning to rowing practice, and I very nearly live in it (I wear it to the office almost every day!!). I could not recommend a better multi purpose fleece.
Sleeves stay in place when pushed up
Half zip offers fantastic ventilation
Easily dressed up for the office
Very good at regulating moisture
The claimed insulation in the chest and shoulders is very minimal, but the liner material covering the entire jacket is more than enough
The inside is prone to static and makes it slightly difficult to peel off
The stitching around the collar is kind of weak, and I've had to patch it once myself (I've used it almost every day for 6 months now).
Overall this is the single-most important article of clothing in my wardrobe. I'll likely by another.
