Mavic uses a thin bonded construction for the upper to keep things light and breathable. The Ergo 3D tongue offers added ventilation plus a comfortable cushioning, and the ergonomic Ergo 3D + Ortholite footbed provides soft, stable arch support. To dial the fit, Mavic includes two Ergo Dials which allow you to make precise adjustments quickly and easily.
- Q & A
- Fit: True to size
Great shoes, awesome design, lightweight, very well finished and breathable.
The only glitch I see it on long rides at hi temperatures (39C+) the carbon support and the sole itself can feel a bit hot and that ain't nice, still great shoes that I would recommend to anyone and purchase again.
big fan of these
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have ridden with these for 1 full season and they are very stiff and very light--pretty much the two things you want most out of a good road shoe. They are difficult to keep clean--especially the white that I chose, but I've never been one that worried too much about keeping cycling shoes clean. They seem to be well made and have held up well so far. I highly recommend them.
These are great shoes.
They are light, stiff and breathable. Maybe too breathable for winter rides, but that's what shoe covers are for.
They are not very easy to clean, but not impossible either.
I would recommend these based on their lack of weight, stiffness, ventilation and comfort. It feels like you have nothing on.
How much wider are these shoes compared with the std version?
