Fall can't get here soon enough.

The Marmot Women's Vivian Sweater goes well with shimmering seas of quaking, golden aspen leaves and crisp fall afternoons on the trail. Wool provides temperature-regulating performance to keep you comfortable through the ups and downs of your hike, and it's blended with nylon for durability and enhanced moisture management. Marmot then added a soft fleece lining to add extra coziness and finished it off with flatlock seams to give it a smooth, irritation-free feel.

Warmest Top I Have Ever Owned

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Medium

I use this for alpine skiing and can now wear one less layer. The wool is tightly woven and the medium, for me, leaves just enough room for a merino t-neck and a silk crew underneath. I am old and get cold easily and this keeps me warmer than anything I have ever used in my 40 years of skiing. I very highly recommend it. I am 5'6", 132 lbs, and size medium is perfect. Since I usually wear an 8-10 and buy a large, I would say this runs a little large. It is not a light weight material, and feels very wooly which is just what I wanted.
