The shortened pole segments slip into a pannier without reorganizing everything else, and at just over three and a half pounds trail weight, it doesn't change the math on a loaded pack either.

The double-wall construction and fully sealed fly and floor handle real precipitation, and the 2000mm-rated floor keeps ground moisture out on wet campsites. A no-see-um mesh canopy keeps airflow moving through warm nights while the coated fly seals out rain when it arrives. The single vestibule at 8.72 square feet handles a pack, boots, and whatever else needs to stay dry but doesn't belong inside.
