great softshell
Bought for skiing backcountry and resort, and general winter use (hiking /biking). Haven't put it through too much yet but have used it a few times for each activity. Great construction and breathability. Massive front lower pockets, you could fit a wine bottle in there if wanted to (or skins). A backpack strap does sit across them tho. 6'3", 185 size L purchased and provides good coverage and room for layering without seeming too bulky. 34"+ arms and the sleeves go an inch past my wrists with my arms bent. If my intended use was biking or running I might consider a medium. The lower zipper is good for preventing bulging while bending over to reach the handlebars on a bicycle however.

It is a good jacket for wind and is true to its size. It has one shortcoming that even little drizzle could make it wet. It feels like the DWR coating is lacking.

Great Softshell
I've had a variety of lined softshells over the years but they're becoming harder to find. This is an excellent offering. Its light weight yet is substantial enough to wear with minimal layering unless its bitterly cold. It blocks the wind great and beads off water thanks to the DWR Coating. The Gore Infinium is a phenomenal fabric.

Too warm for summer?
Probably best suited as a winter soft shell, as it's pretty heavy duty. Construction quality is really good. Zipper pulls are easy to grab with gloves on. Nice big side pockets, high enough not to interfere with a harness waist belt. Love the huge pit zips for dumping heat. Hood fits nicely over a low profile helmet (e.g. skywalker), but needs to go underneath for anything bulkier (e.g. BD Vision), especially if you have a tuque on.

Perfect layer for high output activities
Got this to use as an outer layer for backcountry skiing. It works perfectly - combined with a Patagonia R1 hoody and insulated vest I was comfortable all day in 18F weather. The wind block is awesome for when you pop out of the trees at the top and the breathability means you're not soaked from the climb up. I can see myself using this for mountain biking as well. Just a really versatile piece of gear. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and the medium fits great - a nice trim fit but not constricting.
