Mammut wove 39% merino wool through the Trift for its natural temperature regulation, odor resistance, and soft next-to-skin feel that holds up through multi-day trips without becoming uncomfortable between washes. The 59% nylon construction wraps that merino in a framework that dries faster, resists abrasion more effectively, and handles the sustained moisture output that high-output winter activities generate. Two percent spandex rounds out the blend with the stretch needed for a form-fitting silhouette that mirrors body movement without restriction across skiing, running, hiking, and training.
