Love these gloves but not top class

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've worn these gloves on two, very different trips. The first was a warm Colorado weekend with temperatures ranging from around 20-40 F (maybe a little colder) and light winds. For that trip, my hands stayed warm the entire time, even during night skiing, but never got too hot.

However, just this last weekend I tried to brave the -3 F weather in Vermont with around 20 mph winds and experienced my first hand freeze. By lunch my hands were frozen. After lunch, I threw in some hand warmers though and was fine.

These gloves can be hard to put on and the liner does not come out. But once they are on, they have great dexterity! I was able to grab things out of my drawstring bag and use them without issue. One small drawback is no touchscreen tips so you have to take the gloves completely off to use.

All in all, these are great gloves that feel well made and will surely last awhile! Just beware that in very cold weather you're going to need some hand warmers or whiskey coat to stay warm.
