Mammut Schneefeld Light Zip Pullover - Women's

Lots of warmth, minimal weight.

The Mammut Women's Schneefeld Light Zip Pullover features Polartec Power Dry fabric, giving you a toasty base layer that's extremely lightweight. Ideal for cool-weather climbs and hikes, as well as winter activities when it's layered underneath a shell, the pullover's stretchy fabric wicks moisture away from your skin with its advanced grid construction, allowing sweat to dry quickly.

Flatlock seams won't irritate your skin when you wear this pullover as a base layer, and the chin protector ensures a comfortable feel when it's fully zipped. In addition, the Schneefeld features a high collar to keep the sun off your neck during extended climbs.

  • Polartec Power Dry (91% polyester, 9% elastane)
  • Half-zip pullover design

Highly recommend

This is a really great shirt. I used it as a cover up and base layer on various hikes. It wicks away moisture and stays dry. That color is really nice too. It's extremely comfortable and versatile.

    like this piece

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small

Great outer piece; very light weight; I wish it was a little more boxy for layering; it is not super warm probably wear it more in the spring to thin for the winter

    nice additional piece

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I owned several Mammut pieces they usually run a little small so I bought one size up and it is to big so buy true to size. The description was light weight BUT this one is very light weight more of a Spring piece than winter. I would buy it again just not for winter.

    Warm, bright, comfortable, durable

I've used this shirt for climbing, hiking, cold-weather camping, running, and just "hanging out." It's very comfortable and durable (i.e. seams haven't broken at all, material doesn't pile - even though I've been climbing, wearing a backpack, camping/ sleeping etc... quite a lot in it). Thumb holes make for a nice way to close the gap between shirt sleeves and gloves. The bright colors/ cool design earn the shirt a lot of complements. I'm 5'8" (with a +2" ape index) and have a size med. I have no problems with sleeve or torso length - perfect!
