Welcome to the promised land.
If your idea of enlightenment is cruising up skintracks and mobbing down long descents in perfect pow, Mammut's Nirvana Flip 18 Backpack is your gateway to elevated consciousness. That might sound a little wishy washy, but the Nirvana is anything but, seeing as it's made from 300D HD fabrics that can scrap against rocks, power through trees, and stand up to lots of travel without batting an eyelash.
It's not huge—at 1100 cubic inches, it's perfect for short day tours or hops outside the resort—but Mammut still gave the Nirvana a full-zip back panel for easy access to all your gear, along with top access and a front compartment that can hold your shovel and probe. The Nirvana's compression straps are designed to carry a snowboard vertically or skis diagonally, and there's also a system that locks down ice axes and trekking poles for easy storage when they're not in your hands. You can probably figure out what the padded internal goggle pocket and hydration sleeve are for, too, so we won't waste words explaining them to you.

- Q & A
Is the diagonal carry them only option this pack offers, or are there straps on the side for an A frame carry?
This Nirvana Flip 18 Pack only has a diagonal ski carry system. If you want an A-frame carry option then check out the Mammut Niva Ride 20 Backpack (Item #MAM00HF). Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.

I just ordered the black version and it clearly looks like the other color on the pack is a fuchsia type pink but when I received the backpack today in the mail it is black and red.. can someone confirm what the color is supposed to be so I know weather to return or exchange? Thank you!
The zips are red, not fuchsia like our picture implies. We need to fix the color on our site. I will email you and see if you are happy to keep the pack, with the current colors of black and red.
