The Contact back panel holds the pack flush to your back so it moves with you rather than against you, and perforated shoulder straps keep airflow moving on steep approaches. A PFC-free DWR coating sheds light rain and morning moisture, while the removable hip belt gives you the option to dial in support on longer carries or strip it off entirely when a harness is in the picture.
