Mammut Botnica Light ML Hooded Jacket - Women's

Winter warrior.

No matter what your preferred activity of choice, the Mammut Women's Botnica Light ML Hooded Jacket is a must-have for working hard in winter weather. Sport it as an outer layer when hiking or trail running, or wear it under a technical shell when skiing at the resort or snowshoeing in the backcountry.

Pontetorto TecnoStretch fabric on the front panel blocks wind to keep icy breezes from sapping your core heat, while thinner Pontetorto DryFast at the underarms and back wicks sweat and dries rapidly to keep you from overheating once you get going. Both fabrics are stretchy for unrestricted mobility in any active pursuit. The athletic fit maximizes the fabric's moisture-wicking and warming efficiency, and it also allows for comfortable layering under a shell.

Yes, this is the one.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love this. I got something for running and to wear during cool spring weather. I have literally been looking for over a month. Tried multiple New Balance running jackets and finally almost gave up, but stumbled across this one. Love the hood. Love how it's light, but super warm and wind blocking. I'll definitely run races and errands in this jacket. I could've gotten XS, but S works, too. If it shrinks at all it will be fine. Only suggestion is thumbholes.

This jacket was for my girlfriend, who says:
The jacket is really comfortable. The material is stretchy and fits well. It is great as a comfortable layer and is not bulky or bunchy under a softshell or thicker jacket, when in need.
