Gym laps, projecting sessions, and constant lower-offs add up fast. The Mammut Assist Protector is a small addition to our setup that makes a big difference over time, helping preserve the performance of our assisted belay device through repeated use.

Designed to attach directly to the Mammut Assist with two screws, it acts as a protective barrier against impacts and wear. Instead of grinding down the body of the device on bolts, walls, and hardware, the protector absorbs the abuse. It also helps soften contact noise during frequent belays in the gym, keeping sessions a little quieter and our gear in better shape for longer. When we rely on our belay device every session, this simple upgrade makes sense.
