The Dry treatment meets the UIAA standard for water repellency, limiting absorption to about 1.5% even after abrasion, while heat-set fibers increase resistance to wear. The result is a rope that clips cleanly, belays smoothly, and stands up to heavy use. A 70-meter length opens up extended leads and rappels on modern routes, and ready-to-climb packaging means better handling right out of the bag.
