Kit up in style.

To celebrate the arrival of weather more conducive to short-sleeves and bare legs, we've partnered with Louis Garneau to bring you the women's Equipe 1.6 Bib Short. With edgy styling and top notch technical features, these bib shorts provide supportive compression for all-day comfort.

The magic happens with Louis Garneau’s mixing of its Pro+ and Power+ Lycra materials. The Pro+ Lycra adds a touch of comfort with a forgiving stretchiness that belies its ability to recover its shape, allowing it to move with you instead of working against you. Meanwhile, the Power+ Lycra boasts a mix of stretch and compression to isolate and support muscle groups, which means you'll feel less fatigue and be able to recover faster.

Louis Garneau uses flatlock stitching to minimize uncomfortable chafing and seamless inner legs to reduce friction against the saddle. Powerband compression cuffs at the leg hems hold the shorts in place to prevent bunching without any uncomfortable pinching sensations. Garneau's women-specific Motion Airgel chamois utilizes a mix of perforated gel inserts and multi-thickness perforated high-density foam to banish moisture and provide a comfortable ride. As a final touch, a small pocket on the back of the bibs securely totes your keys, ID, or race radio to open up jersey pocket space for a few extra all-important snacks.

Great chamois

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

My wife uses these. Here is her report. The chamois pad is dense and comfortable. It does its jobs well on long rides and really is the best part about these bibs. The bib straps are breathable mesh. They are stretchy enough and the right length to not dig into my shoulders. The fit is good I went with a large at 5'7 and 155 lbs. They are kind of see through in the back but will work great as a liner short under mountain bike baggies.

Love LG air gel

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

LG air gel chamois rocks my world. Can’t wear anything else. I own 4 other equipe shorts but added weight gain has made the waistband roll over real. So these bibs are the answer. Only prob is having to undress use the restroom. Wish there was an easy button/ clip to release

love these shorts, very comfortable. i was afraid the suspender like top part would pull on my shoulders since i have a tall torso and cant wear a one piece bathing suit because of it. The chamois is very comfortable. as mentioned by another reviewer, the panels on the side of legs are a bit see thru but there is a dark strip of fabric where it matters [bum to pubic bone]. cant wait to wear these on hot hot days. now if i can just figure out what the pocket between the shoulder blades is for?

    See through!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I only had the chance to wear these bibs once for a 30 mile ride. The chamois and straps were very comfortable. In fact, everything felt great initially until someone told me that my bibs were completely see through in the back! For this reason, I would not recommend these bibs.

Pretty in love with the entire Louis Garneau Equipe 1.6 Kit.
The chamois is the perfect size (not to big/ just right amount of thickness) and bibs provide comfortable compression over all.
My favorite part of these bibs is the unique design.
Only down side was the length of the straps, but that is just part of only being 5'5.
Over all a great bibs for road and mtb.
