Plastic Bottle Cage/ Yeti Ready!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Fits on my Yeti Sb6 perfectly, I wanted a bottle cage that can get smashed, thrashed and take a beating without bending or breaking on the undercarriage. Yeti's aren't the best for having a bottle cage but this does the trick!

Plastic Bottle Cage/ Yeti Ready!

Any issues with losing water bottles?

Good deal, thanks for info and link. I have the regular podium bottle and always end up with dirt in the top. Didn't realize they make a "dirt series" version. Cheers.

Sweet!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I finally got around to putting a cage on my bike. trying to get away from carrying so much water on my back and this was the answer. super easy side entry. fun color options! (I went with purple). easy to get my bottle in and out on the go.

On-The-Go

Now I don't have to sacrifice a Strava KOM to relieve my parched lips

Solid Cage

Good cage, holds tight with no noise or movement. No complaints so far

Nice cage

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a nice light plastic cage that I put on my mountain bike. hold bottles well and is easy to pull your bottle out mid ride

Not so sure yet

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

ive had side pull cages before, but this one just doesnt seem to hold my camelbak podium bottle like other cages ive had in the past. there is a noticeable gap when the bottle is "in the cage" wondering how many bottles ill lose this season...

Perfect for MTB

Great addition to the new mountain bike, and I'm so happy to be running a bottle cage instead of a pack. So convenient; side opening design is brilliant and perfect for mountain bikes that may have less clearance in the frame, especially for larger bottles. It's dreamy.

Great gift

I bought this as a gift for my uncle because he has the same problem I have where no water bottles fit well inside the frame of his Santa Cruz. I have the blue one and he has the black one. This is a great, inexpensive water bottle cage!

    Plastic or Carbon Fiber?

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I decided to get this water bottle cage for my Santa Cruz Hightower because there isn't a ton of space between the mounts and the rear shock. So far everything works great! And this build is very sturdy. For the price, I see no reason to go after a top of the line carbon fiber bottle cage.... Unless you care more about strava times then you do friends.

    Great Water Bottle Cage

This a great water bottle cage. It holds the water bottle and it is easy to grab your water bottle while riding. It simply does the job.

      Another great review

Real happy with the side load cages. They seem kind of bulky in the package, but fit well in my bike frame. Pairing 2 of these with a Wolftooth B-rad adapter has allowed me to fit two bottles in my fatbike frame. So far I’ve had no issues with rattles, noises, or loose bottles.

Left or Right it gets the job done

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have 5 of these bottle cages now. It's by far the best value for a side loader cage. I use thes on my MTB and my girlfriends. She is also very impressed with it. With today's frames and shock placements it can be tricky to get a bottle in the frame. The only gripe I have is that the bottle can sometimes catch on the edge when trying to insert it into the cage. I have found that by simply taking a file and putting a slight angle on that leading edge helps tremendously. The Black cage is by far the most most flexible and doesn't seem to leave a slight color residue as I have found the red one to do.

Another great option is the right or left entry. I picked up a left one to try out also, this leaves my right hand free to makes shifts on the bike. It also benefitted from a little file action on the leading edge.

For the price this is great

The only downside to this cage is that it is a bit heavier than one of the $80 dollar carbon ones. This is strong, well built, and sleek. No reason not to get this unless you're extremely concerned with weight.

        Great Cage

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Simple, cool looking with its streamlined curvy look and the side-entry was perfect for the confined space I have with my mountain bike. Happy with this purchase!

        bottle holder

I put these on my road bike. Loved the side entry so I got one for my mountain bike. It actually works without interference from the shock.

          Not For Yeti's

          • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Based upon the other great reviews, I bought this earlier in the year. I loved the design & will definitely be getting some in the future for my road setup.
But unfortunately, at this time I was searching for a cage for my mountain bike (Yeti) and this one wasn't grippy enough to hold a bottle under the downtube. Needless to say, I returned it and went with a top-entry cage instead.

          Unanswered Question

Just to clarify: does the right/left refer to which side the bottle is loaded/unloaded? Thanks!

          My Side Cage

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It may be plastic, but I love my side cage like I love my main cage.

          Does the job

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this because my full suspension frame is too small for a regular cage, but didnt want to spend the 80 bucks on a carbon Arundel Sideloader. Its not anywhere near as sexy, but hey it was way cheaper and holds my bottle just as well.

          Good Cage

Nothing too special about this one but it certainly does the job. I installed it on my new SC Bronson and it fits well with most water bottles. Honestly can't find any reason to pay more for a different cage.
