Not Worth Buying at Full Price
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this item on sale and would not advise anyone to buy it full price. Having read previous reviews warning about the elastic in the waist and cuffs twisting in the wash, I put a single stitch in by each seam line and that has been enough to keep the elastic in place without a detriment to the stretch. I've worn this multiple times on fall weather outtings and they keep me comfortable while belaying and climbing. They move with me well and I enjoy the fit. I wear size medium and recommend purchasing that size, if not a size smaller since the elastic feels like it is starting to stretch. I hope this exact style gets an update with a better elastic band, thats the only downside.

don't wash well
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These were perfect. I wore them once and washed them, which subsequently ruined them. The waistband has a separate piece of elastic that twisted in the washer (I do not have an agitator washer). I was not able to straighten it out. In the process of returning them.
