Weigh your options.

When you finish up your workday, you're usually confronted with two choices: either go home and sit in front of the TV or take advantage of the longer days and squeeze a quick trip to the mountains before the sun sets. The Kuhl Revolvr Pants work just as well in the office environment as it does on your local trails or climbing crag thanks to its comfortable durable cotton blend fabric. A hint of nylon only increases the durability of the pants when you're bushwhacking through brush, and a more relaxed fit with articulated knees and inseam gusset keep your legs mobile when you're climbing a new route, so ditch the tube and get outside.

  • Versatile pants ideal for hiking, climbing, and ditching work
  • Durable cotton blend fabric with reinforcements at cuffs
  • Gusseted inseam with articulated knees for enhanced mobility
  • Hand and back pockets with side pocket designed for phones

Such overall great pant-casual & work

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 33x32

These pants sooo amazed me as a very versatile and extremely comfortable pant. They are so well designed - ergonomically and fit. They move without restriction and have the most amazingly comfortable feel. The fabric is soft like cotton but have amazing durability and nice look. What's impressive is how thin the fabric, but how incredibly durable they are. They can take a beating. This is my second pair.

Versatile, comfy pant

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

First pair of these, and they will soon be outnumbering my jean. Very comfortable, able to be worn to the office or casual settings. Buying more soon.

Low quality thin fabric rips easily.

I ripped 2 pair of these pants in normal day to day activity. They didn't wear out. They were not abused. They simply ripped in surprising ways. I sent more than a dozen emails to Kuhl customer service and was met with rude responses and lack of understanding. Feel free to look at the attached picture and decide for yourself if these were worn or ripped due to poor design and cheap material. I do appreciate the offer that Backcountry made of a 30% discount and will continue to shop here. I also love my new Prana Stretch Zion Pants that replaced these. Thumbs up to Backcountry, but this will be my last purchase from KUHL.

Low quality thin fabric rips easily.

Still a Good Choice

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 33*34

I think I prefer the older model...…. before the spandex was added. they were just slightly less restrictive. overall, still a good pair of quick drying, light weight hiking pants.

Ditto. But I like that there is now a slit pocket on the left thigh.

Great casual/functional pant

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Comfortable pant that can be worn around town or the campsite. Has a loose fit that is not too tight and not too baggy

Stretchy Pants

  • Fit: Runs large

I have had a few pairs of these over the years, my last pair weren't nearly as stretchy but these pants are super comfortable. I found these actually fit much larger than other pairs I had owned previously, I got he sequoia color which fit more like a 34 32 than a 32 32. I liked the fit but it was a bit larger than expected. I like the updates to the pants like the additional pocket on the left leg and stretchy pockets. Cant go wrong with kuhl!

not impressed

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

little tight, worn to much for me to return, order a couple sizes bigger for better fit, also kinda thin

Great pants

I'm on my fourth pair of these pants over about as many years. I really like the fit, the durability, and ability to be worn over a long duration. When I travel I usually have the Revolvr along for the ride. I have found the size to be true to my size, and I like how there's enough room around the thighs to let me breathe. I order one size shorter to keep the cuffs from bunching up and dragging on my heals.

Revolvr Pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I recently started purchasing Kuhl pants. I purchased both the Revolvr and Revolvr Rogue pants. I find that i like the Rogue more than the Revolvr due to the fact that the pant legs are more tapered and are not as full down near the ankles. I use these when i'm wearing my larger boots since they have a more full fit down to the ankles. I would recommend these to a friend, but would also encourage you to go to the Revolvr Rogue if you're looking for a more tailored leg fit.

Love these pants

Durable and comfortable pair of pants.
Fit is good, great quality. I wear these pants for daily use, and for hiking. Just a super-comfy pair of pants, even in warmer weather.

Awesome Product

I worn these religiously for a year. They've seen long hikes, scree scrambles, desert crack climbs, and the office. Sad I wore a bunch of holes in them but they saw action at least 150 days last year. Call me crusty but I love them! I will definitely be turning my worn out pair in to swimming hole shorty-shorts and buying a new pair.

Second pair

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32x32

Bought a pair of these a few years ago and they quickly became my favorite pair of pants. Love the lightweight material and the cell phone pocket. Took them as my only pair of pants on a 5 week trip to Europe in the summer and they were perfect for walking around the cities and the mountains. Can't go wrong with these pants. Finally wore some holes in them and frayed the cuffs after a few years of regular wear so ordered another pair.

Perhaps my favorite pair of pants!

Been wearing the Revolvr pants over the past couple of weeks. So comfortable I've stopped wearing jeans. Also great for being in Arizona. These have a better feel than denim and breathe easier too. So light! Used to hate wearing pants in 100+ degree weather, now I can say I really don't mind. Some folks have mentioned sizing issues. I'm an average/athletic build and I found them to be true to size (helps if you can find them at a local store to try on first. Backcountry will price match if they're cheaper locally.)

Best pants ever!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear these pants everyday. When I am not wearing them, I'm wearing the Kuhl brand shorts. So many versatile pockets all with a unique purpose from cell phone, sunglasses, cash, keys etc!
May fit a bit long. Around an inch. My dad ordered a few pair for himself and has to roll them up about 3 inches. He is 5'8. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the Revolvr!

Nice Pants

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these as a gift for my dad - he loves them and says they fit like his normal size. First pair I received were missing a snap button but I was quickly shipped a replacement.

Nice pants

    Great fit

    Front right pocket

Great pants. One question the front right pocket is like half sewn shut. I am thinking a defect, but maybe it's some new pocket deal. If anyone knows let me know. Thanks

I agree it's a defect. I have this item and the pockets are all fully open

      Great pants, colors are deceiving

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 35-32

These pants are great, lightweight with a relaxed fit. I did have to get the waist one size bigger than usual though after trying these on in a store. The colors are very deceiving in that what you see online is far different than the reality. I find the Shale and Khaki to be much lighter than what is shown, Gunmetal turns out to be what I would call a dark forest green, and Carbon is an light army green. I think these colors are far from what is shown and deserves to be mentioned. I do love the pants though.

      Sizing Issues & Contradicting Reviews

Which is it, "True to Size" or "Fit is Small"? Reviews "SEEM" to contradict each other. OR DO THEY????
Notice, most small size (27-33 inch waist) reviews stated, "True to Size" or "Perfect Fit".
Notice, most med & up size (34 inch & up) reviews stated, "Fit is Small, To Tight, etc."
I find that the Small Sizes tend to fit fairly close to "As Expected" but in the med-large waist, 34 to 38 inch, you need to order a size larger. In large-XL waist, 40 inch & up, you may need to size up even more.

Shoot I hope not I just ordered my dad a size 34-34 for Father's Day lol
