Kollusion Jacket

The Kuhl Men's Kollusion Jacket is a rare breed when it comes to blending style and ruggedness. Wear this jacket to your next wine and cheese party, and then, even if it's flurrying on the way home, the waxed, PU-coated fabric won't mind. The roll-away hood keeps your dome dry when you need it to, and gets out of the way when you don't need it. The articulated, 5-panel sleeves offer a wide range of movement, so your arms don't get hung up when you're tipping back the port.

  • Waxed jacket offers versatile, year-round weather protection
  • Cotton blend balances breathability with water- and wind-resistance
  • Wax coating can be reapplied for extra defense against wet weather
  • Articulated fit ensures freedom of movement
  • Hood rolls away for sunny weather

Nice by itself or layering

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I’m not crazy about the urban look - I have a horse farm and am more of a Filson guy. However my son loves this brand for their pants. I bought this last year because my wife liked it. I live the jacket. The functionality is great. I actually wear it over a down jacket often - the water repellent fabric keeps the down safe/dry. I keep the jacket in my truck as a lightweight jacket all year. Nice addition to all my Filson, Stormy Kromer gear...and a very good price point!

Runs very small

Others have commented on the fit being nice but I find it very small. I am 5'7" 140 and the medium barely zips. Also there are buttons not snaps over the zipper and they are not easy to use. It's a nice looking jacket with alot of good storage. I like the water coating. Will be good for fall hikes or errands. Be aware that there is no insulation what so ever. The hood is a nice option but again, not so happy with the giant neck bulge there. Kuhl is one of my favorite brands, but for the price I find this jacket a bit lacking.

First Kuhl purchase... very impressed

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M

This jacket is everything I expected it to be from the pictures and descriptions. It is stylish and comfortable and the perfect weight for fall in Maine. I have trouble finding jackets that fit me well as I have fairly broad shoulders and short arms, but this fits perfectly. There is room to layer with a flannel underneath.

No Double Zipper??

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I like the jacket very much. The fit is good and the style is just what I was looking for. But for some reason, Kuhl elected to put just a single, "bottom to top" zipper! The only jacket that should have a one way zipper is a waist length jacket. In this thigh length jacket, the one way zipper is all but useless. I just use the buttons, but really wish they had spent the extra $1 and put in the right zipper.

Good quality and fit

Fits just as advertised. Great coat to throw in the rotation during winter. Good quality and fit .

Great Jacket Great fit, for me

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: xlarge

This jacket reminds me of my M65 field jacket I had when I was in the military without all the "hugeness" associated with the M65. The Large I had ordered fit me perfect. Too perfect. I wouldn't be able to layer anything under except maybe a tee shirt, followed by a flannel. I returned it and got the XLarge. This time, the jacket was going to be perfect for layering a fleece or a wool sweater. Plenty roomy without looking baggy. I'm 6' 190 lbs and have somewhat longish arms and the Xlarge is a better fit in the sleeves. The fabric is soft to the touch and the color is spot on. This jacket will see much use especially when going from fly fishing to nights out to dinner and a movie. Thumbs up! Made in China was a little bit of a let down.

Stylish & Versatile

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

I bought this specifically for a trip to France to watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

I already owned the similar waxed cotton Fjallraven Greenland No.1 jacket, but decided to buy this as well because of the extra pockets and more urban look for the streets of Paris.

Having this jacket with all it's pockets while navigating and running through various airports and train stations in Europe with my backpack made the entire difficult experience less stressful.

I usually wear large or extra large in jackets and an XL Kollusion fit me nicely with the ability to layer a hoodie underneath while sitting in the cold damp grandstands at 3am in Le Mans. For further reference, I wear a 43R jacket.

The jacket breathed well while blocking the wind so that I was comfortable sitting in early morning dew, and never overheated while standing in a crowded Paris bus or wearing it during my international flights.

I'm very happy with this purchase.
