Destroyr Pant

The Kuhl Men's Destroyr Pant is a technical softshell suitable for the mountain whether you're hiking or climbing. An ideal blend of protection and performance, the Destroyr's sofshell fabric offers a four-way stretch as well as resistance to abrasion and wet weather. This pant's gusseted construction includes articulated knees and a relaxed design for complete freedom of movement, and the cuff closure keeps the pant out of climbing shoes. Zippered hand and thigh pockets secure your valuables when you're in high places.

  • Water-resistant softshell
  • Four-way mechanical stretch
  • Fully relaxed fit
  • Gusseted crotch, articulated knees
  • Cuff closure
  • Zippered hand and thigh pockets

Useless Side "Cell Phone" Pockets

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

If you still use a flip phone, it will fit in it but you will find it difficult to retrieve.
In reality, these pockets are entirely useless. I suggested to Kuhl that they redesign it to include One decent side pocket. Otherwise, the pants are OK and likely useful for a range of temperatures.

My new favorite pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 30x30

I love these pants, and they've quickly become my favorite pair to wear. I bought them for winter hiking/snowshoeing in northern Vermont, but they're so comfy that I'm now wearing them almost daily, around town, out to dinner, etc. They have enough room for me to add a base layer when needed, and the cell phone pocket is so handy that I want that pocket on all my pants.

Hey! How about repealing water and blocking wind? Are they useful?

Pricey, but they're great!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 36

Love these pants. I usually wear them for tailgating at Arrowhead on cool and/or wet days. They look good and they're comfortable.

Tighter waist than size would dictate

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Size Bought: 34x32

The 34 waist fit like a 33 and was just too tight so had to return. Odd because the rest of the fit is relaxed. Bummed because I really liked them.

That's typical for KUHL products, sizes vary from batch to batch.

Best Pant

By far the best athletic/outdoor pants I have owned. The quality is great. The material is a tad stretchy which makes it nice for hikes. I highly recommend. Sizing was spot on for me

    How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
    Natural Waist:
Measure across waist where you normally wear your pants.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
