Set of chocks to the stop the fall.
Cruxed out of your mind, there's nothing more satisfying than plugging a stopper out of Kong's Chocks Set so tight that you feel bad for your belayer. Although, if you didn't get it too stuck, the stopper's curved shape and rounded edges should make it easier to clean than you'd think.
- Set of stoppers for trad climbing and mountaineering
- Curved shape and rounded edges ease placing and cleaning
- Tested piece by piece in Italy
- Q & A
All of em!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The number 3 is a really nice piece at 8kn rating it fits just where my old stopper set ended on the low end, and is stronger than the BD 4.
The 1 and 2 are definitely more body weight only pieces, but i have used them at belays to hang gear from to keep stuff out of the way where only a seam crack is present close by.
It's a nice set that gives you every stopper choice you need - add a set of offsets and you'll be slamming nuts like its 1973. Clean is key!
