This 4-piece design is highly adjustable and highly compactable—we just need to flip the power lock feature to adjust our length, and the pole deploys automatically if we grab it at the handle and let the four segments snap themselves into place. The adjustable straps cradle our hands in a safe, ergonomic position while the carbon shaft keeps our swing weight to a minimum as we take some heat off our joints on otherwise knee-burning descents and ankle-busting rock gardens. This compact version packs down to 15 inches to take up little room in our pack.
