Take a walk on the wild side.
Klattermusen uses the rugged weather and climate that surrounds its home in Northern Sweden as the inspiration behind its designs, so it's no wonder that the Men's Misty Pants are tough enough to take a beating on the trail and weather-resistant enough to tolerate cold and wet environments. Their stretch softshell construction bucks wind and sheds light precip and is reinforced with a Duracoat finish along the seat and knees for added protection against wear, without adding excess weight. The unique dual zippered front is a design borrowed from traditional carpenter pants and allow the pants to stay up, even when the zippers are down (on-the-go peeing, anyone?). Klattermusen even threw in adjustable hems, so you can cinch them down tight when you're hiking through wet brush and thick understory.

- Q & A
comfortable and durable for climbing
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I've worn these pants hiking and climbing, the windstretch material is nice because they have a nice give so there's no fear of ripping them in that way. They are also reinforced in all the right areas, so even the scratches against the rocks don't worry me about ripping. I used to wear jeans climbing a lot and am very glad to not worry about ripping my jeans doing certain moves.
The zipped back pocket is nice for your wallet/phone too, so there's no worries about them falling out of your pocket.
The carpenter style zip makes nature's call easy. Very minor in terms of overall differences, but it's been a refreshing difference that makes me smile everytime I put them on or take them off. I absolutely love these pants, my go to for almost any adventure!
