Klattermusen Gere 2.0 Pant - Women's
If you can only bring one pair.
Setting the bar for women's performance pants, Klattermusen's Gere 2.0 Pants are hard to beat. Their tough construction makes them perfect for the trail, but the stylish design renders them more than ready for post-hike drinks. Plus, the front pockets make you feel a little more comfortable carrying your wallet under the added security of the zippered openings. And when you get caught in a downpour, the Gere 2.0s will dry out quickly.
- Technical pants for the trail and travel

Obsessed with the form and function

- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I love love love these pants. If you want to wear some heavy duty technical pants that you'll forget your wearing because they're so comfortable these are it! I am 5'6" athletic build with quads and a booty. I ordered a large based on the size chart. They fit perfectly. They are loose enough to wear base layers underneath with still plenty of room for movement. I thought I wouldn't like the belt, but I haven't removed it yet. It is easy and quick to hook and unhook.
I look forward to put these pants under more rigorous testing, but so far I'm very impressed.
top of the line
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
These mountaineering pants are serious. They are comfortable, but also very strong. As I understand it, the Gere 2.0 is an updated model for Klättermusen where they were able to make these pants with less waste and more strength than the previous model.
There is a natural feel to the pants and you can tell that serious craftsmanship has gone into making the pants itself. The mesh allows for quick cooling for when it gets too hot, the cut of the pants follow your legs. It's as if the pants were designed for maximizing comfort in activity as opposed to someone's stiff concept of the same old pair of pants.
