The back pockets are mirrored to the front pockets which made for a peculiar fit. The belt is worthless, teeth don't grasp the nylon webbing.

Nice pants, ruined by belt

I thought I would love these pants like I love Kavu's shorts, the fabric is great, the cut is loose how I like it, and the pockets are big and super useful. Unfortunately the belt makes the pants almost unusable. They decided to use a different material than the belts on the shorts, and this material is much slicker making it impossible to cinch the belt tight. The teeth on the buckle will not grab the smooth fabric and will loosen itself almost instantly, even without tension being put on it. The belt is sewn in and is not removable, and there are no additional belt loops to wear my own belt.

Cozy and comfortable

I have always been a fan of Kavu products, but had never tried these Chilli Roy Pants, essentially a corderoy version of their popular "duck cotton" fabric. As someone still working on post pandemic weight issues -- currently 5'10", edging towards 36" waist, and 180 lbs, the fit on the Large was near perfect in length, adjustable waist, and roomy crotch area. This size should still work as I edge back towards 34"W and 10 fewer pounds. I never have anyone comment on my pants, but have received two compliments about this pair since wearing them. If I had a wish, it would be a bit more lockdown on the built-in Kavu style webbing belt... it gets loose over time. That aside, I would purchase again.
