Kate Is Great
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Jumped on the bandwagon to see what these were all about, as there are SO many different food products in the industry. I was very surprised with how the bar is able to crumble once in your mouth, but maintains shape while still in the wrapper. Why this is important is that with bars such as Cliff Bar, they tend to keep shape and have a great flavor, but are very tough to eat while on the bike or when pulling off for a small bit to recover. With the Tram Bar from Kate's, you're able to enjoy a great flavor while not gasping for air just to get some food in your body.
These bars are USDA organic, Gluten free, and non GMO, meaning they are able to be enjoyed by almost anyone. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These things are very expensive for what they are, 25 cents worth of granola for 2 bucks basically. I added one to the cart just to get to free shipping. It was comical as to what it was, it weighed practically nothing., if I had bought a box I would have been mad. I mostly just use GORP with a few M&M's these days, works well.
