Mom Trails

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Mom is crushing the snowshoe trails this year thanks to these little beauties. Stylish and warm. Keep those hiking toes warm!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Pros - super comfortable and warm, and they look amazing. Seams and construction look very durable. I've worn them for a couple months now, at least a couple times a week. I live in upstate NY, so they see their fair share of cold. only once were my feet cold, but I honestly think it was because my feet were freezing before I put the boots on, and just never warmed up after I went outside. Though I've not trudged through actual water, it's been pretty slushy sometimes, and they're very waterproof so far. i feel confident trudging through whatever.

Cons - They have a good amount of bulk on the back of the foot/heel area, as most very thick winter boots do. While these are nice looking boots, they're meant to keep your feet warm, and are not very 'form fitting' when you actually have them on. I've worn stylish (and cold!) boots that look good, and I've worn thick, warm boots that are chunky - these are the latter. I love them, but just a heads up, if you're looking for thin looking boots, these are not those. (See pic for reference - I have thin/normal sized legs, so that's not what's bulking them up!) Also, because of that, you really can't get them tight around your ankle. At any time, I can pull these off without untying, no matter how tight I tie them - like any other very thick winter boot I've ever had.

They also run a bit small. I normally wear 9, and had to return these for an 8. Thank you, BC, for having a good return policy!

    • Size Bought: 9

very confortable and warm wear the snow shoeing . I love em

    LOVE them!

    • Fit: True to size

These are great boots for the cold and the snow. Highly recommend! Got these in black. Order your true size as they will fit with thick winter socks. I spend a lot of time in the snow where I live in Idaho and also work at ski resorts. Had to get a pair of boots to replace my old Sorel boots (hate to say it, but my Sorel boots never made the cut- my feet didn't stay warm enough or dry enough, they cracked, etc.), so I was so excited when I finally got these Kamik boots and they were better the minute I put them on! Have been trudging through the snow in negative and single digits and up and my feet have stayed toasty and dry! So glad I have these boots!! Love them!
