Squinting is so 19th century.

Julbo's Stony Sunglasses protect you from all sorts of eye damage, sun glare, flying rocks, dust, and the occasional friendly bug. Although this pair doesn't come standard with automatic wipers, it does come with Zebra photochromic lenses designed to offer the best in distortion-free clarity when out on the trail for hours. These lenses adjust their level of tint from a light transmission rate of 42% to just 7% in a few seconds to account for varying degrees of light. A large, curved structure not only protects your eyes from damage at every angle but also offers you the widest field of view. Made entirely of grilamid, the Stony's frame, though lightweight, can withstand quite the beating. Rather than snap like most (ten dollar) frames, grilamid simple bends to disperse the pressure, then rebounds back into shape. Soft, yet grippy nose and temple pads, made with Grip Tech, will hold securely to your head without yanking your hair out when you least expect it.

Small/Medium Face Size!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

In spite of what the details/tech spec says, these are in fact intended for folks with smaller faces, men or women. The fit is similar to but smaller than the Julbo Stunt which are supposed to fit small/medium faces. Great for Skiing, biking, but maybe a little heavy/bouncy for trail running.

Hi Mark, at this web it says glasses for women, but I have seen videos men using this glasses, is that correct ?? thanks

Great fit, great look, multitask lens

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This is my first pair of photochromatic sunglasses and they left me wondering what i have been waiting for all these years!

My notes so far:
1)The amazing zebra lens is virtually clear indoors, but darkens dramatically outside to mirror level!
2) they are lightweight and comfortable
3) the design provides multi angle protection from the sun (for example, for the sides) without feeling or looking bulky
4) smaller, flattering frame design for women

bonus points - the sunglasses come with an extra nose grip to adjust for those with thinner bridges.

Great fit, great look, multitask lens

I noticed that you favorably reviewed these and the Julbo Blast Zebra Light Fire sunglasses - do you have a preference between them?
