New favorite riding shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I highly recommend these shorts. They are super comfortable. It comes down to the 4-way stretch material. The 4-way stretch allows the best freedom of movement of any shorts I've tried to date. Overall quality of the materials and the stitching is good too.

Well-thought-out features include:

deep zippered pockets
right pocket has a padded cell phone sleeve
sturdy hook and loop velcro waist adjustments
ventilation holes to keep you cool

The inseam on these shorts is a good length too. It comes down right to my knee, perfect for most types of riding. These shorts work well with lower profile knee pads. For a similar short with longer inseam check out the Ion Scrub AMP.

I am 5'11, 185 lbs with 34" waist and the Large fit me perfectly.

Unanswered Question

What's the length of the inseam on these (size small)? Thanks!

Great for Biking

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I recently picked these up and they are a solid biking short! I really like the hand on the material - it's moisture wicking, lightweight, breathable, and durable. I've taken a few diggers while wearing these and they still look brand new! The leg openings have plenty of room for knee pads and the two zipper pockets are perfect for a phone and whatever else you like to carry. I'm a 33" waist and went with the large and, after some adjustments with the waist velcro, they fit great!

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Arm Length
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
