Dude, what does mine say?
Sweet gloves with a low profile design are all the rage these days, and Ion hit the nail on the head with its Dude gloves. Made from a lightweight synthetic blend, the gloves shield your hands from stray branches and trail debris, and help you keep your grip locked on for long rides. The palm is made from Ion's Holy_Cow synthetic leather that boasts the big claim of three-times the strength of real leather, and a third of the weight to land at the equal tear resistance. The palm has a couple small hits of silicone print that keeps you secure on the bars, and allows for great control with your break levers when your digits get chilly.

Best low profile gloves
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
If you prefer low profile gloves with no padding on the palm these are a great option. I don't know how to explain it but these types of gloves just help you feel the trail surface better. They are a slip on glove too, no velcro closure, which is simple and easy.
The palm and the underside of the fingers is covered in little rubber grippers which do a great job sticking to the grips and brake levers. The material on the palms is very sturdy, after 8-10 rides there are almost no signs of wear. The back of the hand is a breathable stretchy material that is comfortable and helps keep your hands cool.
I really like these gloves. Fit is mostly true to size but if you are between sizes I'd say size up.
