Good but repeated quality issue

I own 6. Incredible for humid environments. Basically the only thing I wear . 3 have the same hole at the right collar seam. Huge quality problem to manufacture & ship this defect repeatedly.

Perfect for Florida

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Merino shirt. They named it right "cool and light ". Living in Florida, that's important. I think it's my new favorite shirt. I could use a little longer sleeves if anyone is looking to improve it even more.

Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase such an expensive t-shirt, but it was so worth it. Incredibly comfortable, soaks and dries well, no odor, just a really comfortable shirt to wear when I ride or exercise. Love it, will definitely get a few more.

Perfect for running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband really likes this shirt just wish it was a little longer. They tend to run small.

Best Running Shirt

This is my third Icebreaker t-shirt. I'm a runner and these shirts are perfect for warm weather running. Besides the obvious benefits of wool, like no odor (allows several runs before washing), and excellent sweat wicking, but they are also soft. If you're a man and wear the typical polyester tech shirt, you are prone to nipple chafing from a polyester shirt on long, warm weather runs. Even mitigation actions like lubricants on the nipple do not fully work. But wool is so soft, I've never chafed a nipple since wearing them. These are my preferred running shirts. And... I love the "molten" color.

My go-to t-shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my go-to t-shirt for everyday and travel wear. Comfortable in all weather. Needs infrequent washing. My only suggestion is to add tall sizing for us longer guys.

Super lightweight. Runs large.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Really nice quality merino T shirt. It’s the lightest weight merino I’ve bought. And usually I like base layers that fit snug. This fits more like a traditional T shirt.

PERFECTION

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Lightweight, breathable, and insanely soft. What more could you want!? I love the tapered, athletic fit which fits my 6 foot, 180 lb body (medium,). I've taken this running and hiking already...So good!

Itchiest wool shirt I own

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love wool tshirts and long underwear, but this shirt is the worst I've had. I even have a similar piece from icebreaker and it's better, though still not as soft/non-itchy as my other wool shirts. It's honestly to the point that I won't wear it anymore, even after multiple washings. I may try fabric softener or something to see if it will soften up, but not hopeful. I know icebreaker is popular, but after two attempts I'm done.

dislike the fit

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this wanting a base layer for hiking and touring. My preference is towards athletic fit and this ain't it. I'm 6'1" and 165 but I fluctuate up to 175 (even 185 2 years ago) and this in a medium would still be too big around the torso for any of those versions of myself. I'm not going to bother to return it since we're in the middle of COVID right now and it gets the job done. I don't expect a small to fit me. I'll update after a wash since I may be incorrect about whether merino shrinks. EDIT: after 1-2 washes, the fit is good. raising from 2 to 4 stars.
