My third one
I've bought 3 Quantums over a 25 year span. The only reason I give them a 4 of 5 (actually a 4.5 no half stars though) stars is that the elbows wear out. This is my go to sweater whether on the mountain in the canyons or at Red Rocks for a show. When the old one's elbows wore out my partner's mom made it into a vest. Love it.

Wish I'd gotten this sooner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get lots of compliments on this hoodie. Very well made and it just LOOKS high-end. I'm a lean (almost) 5'10" and while a medium is a little loose, I suspect it may shrink a little once it's washed.

Thinner than previous versions, with a really dainty zipper
This newest version is thinner than previous versions, with a much thinner/finer zipper. Compared to all the others Ive owned, this does not feel like its going to stand up to any wear or abuse. In just the first couple of times ive worn it, the zipper has gotten stuck or mis-alligned right at the base. And that zipper is small enough that it feels like if you use any force it will be permanently damaged the thinness of the material is also a new direction, and not one im thrilled with. The new thin fabric makes the cuffs feel like heavy add ons at the end of the sleeves, rather than one cohesive design The quantum hoody was my favorite piece of clothing - during Covid I was wearing one nearly every day. So Ive had, and have worn through, more than a couple. And I think Im going to have to return this one.

Good hoodie for shoulder season

Dressier Hoodie

Great product
