Awesome BWCA socks!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I go to the BWCA every year and I wanted a good pair to portage 300 rods with. Turns out I had a wet/damp foot and didn’t even know it. That’s comfort, yo. It provides a hell of a lot of cushion without the heat. It was a 75-80 sweaty travel day and I hardly noticed. Nothing like those scratchy fancy socks with doctorate degrees. I’ve had some other socks from other outdoors places and my feet were sliding everywhere and you think your standard cotton crews are just as sufficient. Worth the money for these socks. I’ll need to nab some more pairs and perhaps retire my favorite cotton crews. Love ‘em.

AH-MAZING!

Icebreaker is top of the line when it comes to Merino wool. These socks are soft, comfortable and durable. Once you go Merino there's no going back. I've used these socks for trail running and hiking but I love them so much I wear them as my daily socks too. They're my favorite socks to bring camping because they don't get stinky. I can wear them on a long trail run and wear them around the camp spot too. They're actually my favorite socks to wear with my Birkenstocks!

The best

Smartwool is my go to for hiking socks. They keep my feet dry, odor free and blister free even after many miles of hiking!

Socks!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These socks are great! I wore these on my first hiking trip to Utah, and we did a total of 80 miles, and that wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for these socks! They are light and comfortable, and I was concerned about getting blisters on my feet, but ended up with NONE! I highly recommend wool socks for hiking because of the breathability, moisture wicking, and odor-resistant properties! I will definitely purchase more in the future to take with me on more adventures. I wear a size 7.5 and purchased these in a Medium, and fits perfect!
