Helinox built the Personal Shade around the same proprietary DAC aluminum alloy frame and nylon resin hub system that makes their chairs legendary for strength and packability at minimal weight. Shock-corded poles lock the frame into place quickly, reinforced corners and ladder lock adjusters keep the nylon webbing straps dialed in, and SPF 50+ rated 75D polyester shade fabric handles sustained sun exposure without fading or sagging. The stopper and hub system lets you tilt the shade toward or away from the sun as conditions change, and the whole thing packs into a 26-inch ultralight cinch bag at under a pound. Four sets of mold adaptors are included to ensure compatibility across the full range of supported Helinox chair styles.
