Hammock Bliss Triple Hammock

Three’s company.

The massive and massively portable Hammock Bliss Triple Hammock comfortably fits the whole family and weighs just 26 ounces. Constructed of high strength, soft, breathable, and quick drying nylon parachute silk, this hammock won’t collect mildew or rot out when left in the elements. The attached stuff sack doubles as a handy gear bag, and Hammock Bliss included 100 inches of 6 millimeter climbing rope on each end for easy setup no matter where you are.

Nice and durable but awkward setup

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm not entirely sure how best to go about writing this review, but overall I'm just not that impressed with the hammock. It's big, and the quality is nice and sturdy. It can hold a couple people easily.
At the same time the setup is just weird on this thing, and if you can't find supports spaced just right things get a bit awkward setting it up.
If you need a big hammock and are ok jury rigging it a big, this thing will handle quite nicely.

Build quality
5 stars here. The thing is put together quite well and the material feels very durable and strong. I didn't see anything that made me think the product was skimped on to save production costs.

This is the area where I felt the product is the weakest. It took me a while to find two trees that were perfectly spaced to get this thing tied up properly.
The setup instructions were pretty poor as well. It seems easy to include a link to setup instructions on a hosted video or something like that, and this product would really benefit from that. The diagrams on how to tie the thing to your supports made no sense to me.

Good value. The construction is solid and 60ish dollars is a reasonable price a well constructed hammock.

Got this thing for 20% off and I am more than happy. It is hugeeee. I use two carabiners and some nylon webbing and it works great. I also made a bug net. It is very comfortable to sleep in while camping or to just hang out in.

Just right

Overall: Comfortable, easy, but nothing much different than other gather end hammocks. Great buy if you are willing to do some modifications.

Con's: I purchased this hammock for the extra length and width for a more comfortable lay. Though it is wider, the length listed is BEFORE hemming so it is not longer than other hammocks. That leads to some of the extra width not being used and it hangs on top of you as you sleep (based on 30 degree hang/ 83% ridgeline). The stuff sack gets really annoying really quick if you lay beneath it. I will be removing it and locating it to the foot end. I also found that the suspension system is useless without some tree straps or doing some mods. I switched out the suspension after the first lay.

Pro's: The hammock is made from comfortable and durable fabric. It is easy to find a good spot to sleep through the night. There are limited pressure points. Reasonable cost.

Sweet Hammock

This hammock is comfy and plenty roomy. Great buy.

I had to use my compass to find my way out of this thing. Next time I'm going to take some refreshments and food and stay awhile. I did convince my wife to give this hammock a test of its relationship enhancing qualities,(just for the purpose of a scientifically thorough review), and am happy to report that after some adjustment and a bit of a learning curve, everything went great until I asked her if I could stick a goat on "it" and take a picture. Even after that the hammock is still in one piece so ya'll know its tough. Ken

if you're gonna pass out after too much sangria...it might as well be in this hammock

this hammock is awesome. it's become pretty much a permanent road-trip partner for me. i took this all up and down the coast of california and used it everywhere i stopped. whether curled up with a good book or something cuter and less educational, this hammock does the trick. i was a bit worried that it might be even too wide. the first time i set it up (which was a snap) all my fears on that matter were immediately put to rest. it feels great to sink down into the hammock and curl the sides up around you. all in all. can't say enough good things about this hammock. buy one.

What is the weight limit on this hammock?...

What is the weight limit on this hammock? Is it machine
washable? What will I need to attach it to the trees without
      harming the trees? Thanks!

As for the trees, possibly something like this

Otherwise tubular nylon webbing works for me (2 10-12ft sections), I usually put some sort of padding (cardboard, carpet or cloth) between the webbing and the tree.
