HaglofsRoc Spirit Jacket - Women's

Swedish ingenuity at its finest.

Sweden-based Haglöfs takes its 100 years of experience in producing top-quality outdoor gear and incorporates modern technologies, resulting in performance-driven pieces of technical outerwear with one foot placed firmly in the past, and another in the future of alpine gear. The Women's Roc Spirit Jacket is a technical shell built for high alpine pursuits—whether that's accomplished via skis or crampons is up to you.

The Gore-Tex 3-layer shell provides ample protection from snow and ice, but remains highly breathable for the ascent. Water-resistant zippers throughout the jacket prevent water from slipping in through the cracks, and two mid-torso pockets won't get lost behind backpack straps or a climbing harness. Articulated sleeves maintain a wide range of movement for climbing, and the helmet-compatible hood utilizes a 3-way adjustment system to dial in the fit you need for whatever the conditions are. The bottom line is the Roc Spirit provides durable protection that will handle any serious high alpine pursuit.

Beautiful Jacket but runs small

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I'm 5'9 and 155, usually wear a M for shell jackets if I'm not going to use it for winter activities or L for when I also want to use it with my winter puff jacket for extreme winter weather. I ordered a Large and it was way to small. Unfortunately had to return.

Blue-eye Bombshell Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

AMAZING shell made for burly days in the back-county, or playful days on the resort. Love the pit zips and the fit of this, easy to layer down coat underneath when Snow-magedden hits.

Great Shell

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I have been wanting a new shell for awhile. I have had an ArcTeryx Beta for the last 10 years (which is still a great jacket!), but was always a little small when I wanted to layer a puffy underneath it. My husband surprised me with this jacket in grey (definite charcoal color) for Christmas. He spent extensive time researching the best jacket for ski touring and ended up with this one. So far I am very happy with it. It is definitely just a shelI which is great because it is super lightweight and packs down easy, taking up minimal room in my back. Our winter has been a little bit of everything this year and has handled everything thrown at it, including a day of freezing fog where I was covered in a layer of ice. The helmet definitely fit over my helmet no problem and I liked the high big pockets for easy access when I have a pack on. Stoked to play all winter in this jacket.
