The Granite Gear Crown 3 60L Backpack was built around that reality, delivering an ultralight multi-day platform that adapts to your body, your load, and the demands of wherever the route takes you.

At the heart of the Crown 3 is the Vapor Current Mark 3 framesheet, a compression-molded polyethylene panel with molded reinforcement channels and die-cut holes that minimize weight without giving up structural integrity. The fully adjustable Re-Fit hipbelt dials in from 26 to 42 inches and works in combination with the molded foam backpanel to transfer loads of up to 35 pounds comfortably, with the option to add a U-shaped aluminum stay when the base weight climbs north of that. Strip the framesheet entirely for loads under 25 pounds, and the short torso version drops to just over two pounds. The removable lid handles day-to-day access and converts into either a chest pack or lumbar pack when the objective calls for leaving the main pack behind, and Robic high-tenacity nylon throughout ensures the whole system holds up through the kind of sustained use that separates serious gear from everything else.
