Paragon puff for pebble pullers.

The Gramicci Men's Paragon Insulated Hooded Jacket keeps you warm in between burns on your latest boulder project. Unlike most puffies, the Paragon uses Primaloft Silver Eco insulation to stay warm in case it starts to rain and you have to head home. Gramicci treated the shell to resist raindrops as well as your fallen tears from too many flailed attempts on your project. The Paragon packs inside its own pocket for compact storage, and there's a clip loop so you can attach it to your harness on multi-pitch climbs.

Ecellent Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

Most comfortable at 50 degrees or better. I have worn it without issue in temps down to the 30's with a fleece. I wouldn't want to stand around in that low of temp though. However, when moving I was perfectly fine and it seemed to keep me from sweating. This jacket is great at temp regulation and makes a perfect spring/ fall. At just under a pound (13oz?), it's pretty amazing for its versatility. The only complaint is the hood does not cinch down, the hood is huge. I have not yet tested with a helmet, but I think it would fit over one without issue. The XL fits me well. Not super slim but it definitely doesn't feel like a tarp. Try this jacket!

Blew my expectations away!

This jacket is great at temperature regulation. I’ve used it in anything from in the 60s-40s and been fine. It keeps out a fair amount of wind, It doesn’t restrict your motion in any way and kept me dry hiking back to the car from the boulder field in the rain. The only problem I have with the jacket is that you can’t adjust the wrists to be more snug which would be nice for climbing. But for the price, I don’t think you can beat it.
