Be discerning.

When you and your weightless XC frame are trying to stretch the singletrack season as long as possible, investing in some gear to keep you warm is a no brainer. Of course, you'd like to stay as removed from the "bro"-shouting, baggies-wearing crowd as much as you do in the regular season, which gets a little trickier when you can't just pull out your favorite Lycra kit.

Fortunately, Gore Bike Wear has you covered. The brand has never valued flash over functionality, and we can't help but admire its pragmatism — especially when we're shown again and again how well its fabrics work. The brand's Men's Long-Sleeve Power Trail Thermo Jersey was made for the trails, but cut with the artful tailoring of a road jersey, with a regular fit to accommodate a jersey or baselayer. This jersey uses breathable thermal fabric to hold a layer of warm air next to your skin, keeping your muscles warm on shady, late-season trails without making you overheat. Added touches like an integrated optics wipe, elastic waist gripper, and two slim pockets simplify an after-work ride through the leaves on smooth, fast hero dirt.

  • Jersey keeps you shredding smooth XC dirt late into fall
  • Regular fit allows for layering over a jersey or baselayer
  • Thermal fabric wicks moisture while insulating muscles
  • Reflective accents keep you visible at roadside trailheads

Poor fit

The workmanship on this garment is nice. Material is nice but way too light for a cold weather jersey. The fit, tho...really bad. Sized too small. Go up 1 - 2 sizes.
