Breeze-blocking barrier.

Protect yourself from strong gusts and cool, breezy conditions with the Gore Bike Wear Women's Element WindStopper Soft Shell Lady Jacket. Leveraging Gore WindStopper soft shell construction, this jacket is completely windproof, blocking strong gusts from chilling your core during inclement weather. It's also water-resistant, shedding light showers from seeping inside and dampening your jersey or inner layer. Furthermore, the jacket is highly breathable, allowing built-up water vapor to readily evaporate as you work up a sweat on fast-paced rides.

The jacket's close-fitting collar helps to seal out chilly air, while its soft fleece lining provides a cozy-warm feel on chilly spring and fall outings. Other key features include a full-length draft flap along the front zip, an elastic hemline for a secure fit, elasticized cuffs with thumbholes, and reflective accents for boosted visibility after dark.

So small

  • Fit: Runs small

Ordered xxl as I have big shoulders - other Gore wear has worked but this jacket, though it seems really nice, is cut small in the shoulders and upper arms. Sending it back and still looking for a jacket that will work to commute 10 miles in 30-35 degrees.

Form Fitted

Nice jacket, used with one 200 merino base layer, temp ~57 degrees.....arms were chilly oddly enough but my core was nice and toasty! I enjoyed the thumb holes. It’s hard to say if I’d use it in colder temps due to the tight fit.....I was only able to fit “a” base layer underneath this jacket.

    Best friend loves it!!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Bought this as a gift for my friend who lives in Flagstaff, AZ and is enduring her first winter riding in a cold place and she loves this jacket. She is about 5'7'' 120lbs very athletic build and the medium fits her perfectly. She says its super warm and she loves the cuffs around the wrists and especially the thumb holes. She also commented on how the jacket has zipper pockets, which is rad for storage and such before and after rides but she said she doesnt put anything in those pockets during the ride. She says she even wears it around after bike rides, on runs and for other errands because its so cute! Very versatile jacket for sure.
