It's amazing to see how far helmet technology has come in recent years. It's great to be able to get MIPS tech in a more budget friendly option helmet. I have ridden Giro helmets for years and so has my wife. We bought this one for her as we have started getting out on more technical trails and needed the back of head protection and more coverage.
She likes this helmet a lot. It's lightweight, stylish looking (actually looks small and sleek unlike other chunky looking brands). The adjustability is great and you can get a snug and comfortable fit with the click of one gloved hand while riding.
The only downside so far is that the visor doesn't have click adjustment so it is not easy to know what position it is in and seems like it will slip slowly on gnarly descents. Other than that though this helmet seems like a win and I trust Giro to protect our noggins as my wife had a pretty bad road ride crash a few years ago and her Giro helmet cracked in half but her head was protected and no concussion!
You can't put a price on safety, especially safety that protects your brain!
