First class comfort.

Eliminating the scratchy sensation of synthetics, the Giro HRc Plus Merino Wool Sock places luxuriously soft merino wool fibers directly against your skin for optimal comfort. This premium road and trail riding sock adds more warmth in cooler temperatures, thanks to its core spun merino wool for extra heat retention. Moderate compression properties aide in circulation and arch support enhances pedaling comfort.

Meryl Skinlife fibers are placed along the outside of the sock for moisture-wicking performance. This nylon-based fabric boasts permanent anti-odor properties with its silver-embedded particles. This equates to lasting freshness, even after rigorous rides where you're sweating profusely. For robust durability, the toe and heel are reinforced with nylon panels.

  • Upgrade to luxurious comfort on the road or trail
  • Moderate compression and built-in arch support
  • Core spun merino wool fibers for superb softness
  • Meryl Skinlife boasts anti-odor properties
  • Abrasion-resistant nylon panels at toe and heel
  • 7-inch cuff for optimal coverage and support

Future buyer

If I wanted a thin sock this would be a 5*, but in my case, I wanted a THICK sock for every day in the cold months of Michigan, which is why I retuned these for the DeFeet Wooly Bolis.

    More, please

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These have been great socks for shoulder season weather, as they are not too warm, but still a boost over my usual swiftwick warm weather duds. The socks run true to size and have held up very well after a full year's use.

    Pretty nice, super thin

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice materials. They will be perfect for you if you're looking for a super thin wool sock.

    Sock Lyfe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L for size 45

I wore these on a photo shoot and automatically fell in [heart] with them. I'm a solid sock person who likes 'em race fit, like my kits. The materialization makes a lot of sense for the way our feet work on the bike with the right types of textures and thicknesses (or thinnessesses) in the right places. TLA.

    Summer-Weight Wool

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These are some of my favorite socks. Merino wool is always comfy but can be delicate, these have synthetic reinforcement at the heel and toe to reduce wear and it genuinely works. I haven't blown them out after a year of riding like I do most of my socks. In addition merino wool socks can often be geared more towards fall or winter riding, these are lighter weight, not quite as light as some summer socks but perfectly comfortable on warm days. The material on the bottom is a bit heavier than the top to combine under-foot comfort and breathability. They have a tiny bit of compression and don't slide around like some looser wool socks can. Plus they come in some great bright colors or good old black.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L

These are slightly compressive compared to other socks. I really like them, The wool is pretty light weight and they're comfortable in moderate to hot temps. The toe and heel reinforcement is a great touchy.
