Find the fluffy stuff.

There's always a powder stash hiding somewhere in the mountains, and the G3 FINDr 102 Ski will help you hunt it down. This alpine touring ski bridges the gap between superlight mountaineering skis and fat powder skis so you can tour to faraway places in search of the softest lines to float down. Its 102mm waist width undoubtedly hovers over powder, but still cuts all the crud you encounter between powder days. An early rise tip eases turn initiation when you're linking turns down an open bowl, and traditional camber ensures excellent edge control when you're making hop turns down an icy face.

The FINDr's core features a 3D shaped blend of poppy poplar and superlight paulownia woods to balance between a lightweight ascent and powerful descent. G3's Flyride Plus construction includes flexible PU sidewalls to give a smooth downhill ride, and the quadraxial and triaxial carbon laminates add heaps of torsional stiffness without adding much weight. Add that to the ski's solid edges, an aluminum mounting plate, and the P-Tex 2000 Electra base, and you're in for quite a ride both downhill and uphill.

  • Alpine touring skis designed for long-haul days in search of powder
  • 102mm waist carves hardpack and floats through shin-deep pow
  • Traditional camber underfoot delivers reliable edge-hold
  • Lightweight poplar and paulownia core with consistent flex
  • Carbon laminates increase rigidity and keep ski light

So far so good

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just got these last week. Mounted them with G3 Ion 12s. Tried them out today. They handled punchy conditions, icy conditions, and even some nice corn. Super versatile. Easy to turn but not too easy. Surprisingly stable for their weight. I usually ski 180s but went with 174s. Mostly using them for Backcountry Spring skiing.

So far so good

Thanks for the great review, Mason!

The quiver-killer!!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these used, but I still feel like I should review them on here.
These skis do it all! I've tested them in crud, on ice, and in powder. These things are killer!
Easy to handle, super light, and are stable at high speeds.
I have a 189cm with Dynafit ST radicals.
I'm 6'5" and 190lbs.

    Recommended Sizing Guide

Your ski size is largely determined by both your skiing ability and your preferred style of skiing. For example, an expert skier in Vermont will ski a far different ski than an expert in British Columbia. So take a look at our chart and explanations and find your perfect fit. Your weight also plays a large factor in finding the right ski. If you are either under or over average weight for your height consider downsizing or upsizing, respectively.
