The FSA K-Wing Compact Handlebar is designed to let your wrists adopt a more natural position on the bar, so you stay comfortable while you’re racking up the miles. The top of the K-Wing features a flattened Aero-Ergo profile that helps relieve pressure on your wrists by spreading your weight evenly across your hands. In addition to this, the tops are slightly angled down to imitate the natural position your wrists take when you grab the tops of the handlebar. The K-Wing offers a 125mm drop and 80mm reach. FSA has angled the drops by two degrees, letting your wrists take a more natural position than they would adopt in parallel drops.

The K-Wing features a carbon fiber/Kevlar construction, offering you a good-looking and durable handlebar with a stable feel. FSA uses a high-friction coating at the stem clamp area to provide you with plenty of grip, and with slightly larger cable channels, cable routing on the K-Wing becomes a hassle-free job. The FSA K-Wing Compact Handlebar is only compatible with 31.8mm-clamp-diameter stems.

Barbarian!

I'm pretty impressed with the design and function of these bars. Using several FSA bars currently, these are their best. Probably worthy of 5 stars by most standards. They may affect how you travel with a case and use of a bar fly just fits. Comfortable hand positions for sure, the tops are tops!

When logging long miles I suffer some wrist and thumb pain, not debilitating but a nuisance that keeps me from enjoying a long ride. Bought the K-wing hoping to alleviate some of the pain. I am very happy with this purchase, I have completed multiple 50+ mile rides without wrist pain. I like the contour of this bar where it meets up with the hoods, allows much more comfortable positioning than previous bars (3T Ergonova). I am also very comfortable climbing and gripping the top portion of the bar. The slight slant of the bar is much more comfortable than a regular flat bar. I have also noticed less vibration and no longer scoff at the price of carbon, it is worth every penny.

Rodney, is the bar measured center-center at the bar ends or at the hoods? Thanks.

Ok, so I have to say I have been eyeing these bars for a long time. I like my aluminum FSA Compact bars a lot so I really felt this was, well...an ego purchase. You know, they look bitchin'...happen to match my Tarmac, etc.. Now a couple of weeks in and they are just awesome, The flat area behind the hoods is worth the price of admission alone; insanely comfortable. The ovalized tops are not only more comfy and anatomic when climbing, but make an excellent perch for your forearms in the "faux" aero position. Internal cable routing under the tops is super sano, albeit a bit fiddly to get housing in the first time around...plan on donating a kinked cable to the process. What I didn't expect was just how much more solid and planted they feel when sprinting/climbing out of the saddle, kinda altered my paradigm a bit in this respect. Anyway, pricey but well worth the admission if you feel as I do that your three contact points (saddle, bar, shoes) are a place to invest some green in the name of comfort and performance.

Great Bars!

    Comfort is paramount with these bars. Relatively light and stiff enough to jump out of the saddle and sprint, yet smooths out the road chatter. Exactly what I was looking for.

    Does anyone know if these bars flare on the drops? The other FSA K-Force compact ones I was looking at flare out but the pics on these bars make it appear these do not. Thank you.

    I measured my K-Wings and there is about a 1 cm difference when measured across the front of the bars and across the end of the drops. So there is a small flare out.
