Fly to the finish line in style with the Fox Racing Men's Ascent Comp Bib Shorts. Fashioned from a mix of Italian fabrics fashioned from moisture-wicking yarns, these shorts provide just the right amount of stretch while moving moisture out and away to keep you cool and dry. Silicone grippers at the leg bands gently hold everything in place, and reflective detailing on the legs increases visibility to motorists, woodland creatures, and fellow riders in low-light conditions.
The Ascent Comp Bib Shorts include the Fox Racing Comp Chamois, whose triple density cushioning and strategically varied thickness keep you comfy without any unnecessary bulk. Its Carbonium AntiMicrobial fabric features a four-way stretch that moves with you to reduce chafing and fights off bacteria to keep you feeling fresh and clean ride after ride.
- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I used these bibs for about 2 months: 8 races and several hundred miles.
They are now my go to bibs for XC. I'm a big Fox fan, but I never used their gear for XC riding. These changed my opinion on Fox and XC gear.
They are durable, fit well and grip well. The padding works for me and it's doesn't bunch up or feel bulky. I have never used them on the road, so all my experience with them is trail and XC race use.
It's not mentioned, but there is small storage space on the lower back.
I'll be getting another pair because I find myself constantly having to wash them because I pick them over other gear I have.
When compared to other clothing, Fox gear seems to run a little small, but these fit true to size in terms of how Fox gear is. I'm about 6' and weight about 190-192 with a pant size of about 32. The Large fits me fine.
I have found that Fox tends to run kind of on the small side. I'm 6'1" 170 lbs . What size Bibs would you recommend ? Thanks !!
Hey Kevin - I agree that Fox tends to run a bit on the small side. I am 6'1" 185 lbs and would definitely go with these Ascent Comp Bibs in Large. I think Large would most likely be best for you too unless you have a really thin waist or are looking for a tighter performance fit. Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.
