Hike on.

The next time you head for cerulean blue glacial lakes and jagged alpine peaks, wrap your feet in the Forsake Patch Hiking Boot for a springy, cushioned trek. Pioneers of the "Sneakerboot," the mountain-loving craftsmen at Forsake create their boots to feel forgiving like your favorite pair of trainers but with subtle support that doesn't feel stiff or unyielding.

You'll still find all of the features of traditional hiking boots on the Patch, including a waterproof leather upper construction and waterproof membrane liner for days when the rain won't stop. The boots also include Forsake's Peak to Pavement outsole: an arrangement of lugs that lend stability and grip on a full range of surfaces. As the hours and miles tick by, the compression EVA midsole delivers a cushy, responsive ride, while the gusseted tongue prevents errant pieces of rock and gravel from interrupting your day.

  • "Sneakerboot" supports all of your peak-bagging adventures
  • Supportive boot shape with the cushioned feel of a sneaker
  • Waterproof leather upper yields to the shape of your foot
  • Lined with waterproof membrane for extra protection
  • Lugged outsole adapts to loose or smooth trail conditions
  • Gusseted tongue keeps gravel and water out

Runs large

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I'm a solid 8.5, but read that these run large, so I ordered an 8 in the Timberwolf color (which were a pale winter wheat with maroon-ish red laces). Very cool looking boot, but it was still too big even a half size smaller than my normal. I wish I would have ordered a 7.5 because even thick socks would not have helped. I only tried them on at home, but as far as I can tell then are light weight and would be comfortable for hiking and traveling. These would be good boots for traveling in the winter in Europe or going to wet and muddy places like Northern Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, etc. Too bad, these are so cute, but I wish I would have gotten the black and tan in a 7.5.

Awesome Boots!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These boots are as comfortable as a good running shoe! They are light and have great cushion. I am surprised at the amount of support they have. They are well made and stylish as well! I have the black and tan ones and am very pleased with my purchase.

These shoes are excellent

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These shoes are excellent - I bought my wife a pair for her birthday, and she absolutely loves them! She uses them for hiking, in the rain, and every day use around the neighborhood. She couldn't be happier, and has recommended them to her friends!

Great Style and Fit

These boots are super stylish while also functional. I wear them more as a casual boot rather than hiking. The heels tend to be wider than most fyi.

    light weight and fit well

These are the best fitting boots! They are not only waterproof but stylish. Most hiking boots are really heavy, but these are so light in weight. Also they come with two pairs of laces in different colors so you can style them in the way you like.

Great boot, just not for my feet

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love the look and the initial feel of these boots on my feet. Unfortunately I have a bunion that gives me problems and when I wore them around the house it started to hurt my problem foot. It wasn't that they were too narrow or anything, it is literally a foot problem, not a shoe problem. Otherwise, very comfortable and cute!

      Super comfortable

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Gave these to my friend as a gift, she wears them hiking in the desert, mountains, and working on a farm. They fit perfectly, offer generous comfort and support, and are cute enough for the city. All around win!

      Lovely boots!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Wonderful boots. Comfortable right out of the box. I walked 10+ miles over a few days in them and had no blisters. If you buy the black/tan color, be careful about sizing! Apparently Forsake has made their new inventory TRUE TO SIZE, whereas their old inventory still runs half a size TOO LARGE. The ones I ordered from were half a size large. But once I found the correct size (three pairs later), I was in love with them. Happy Hiking!

      Love these shoes

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought my Patch boots a year ago and have worn them while traveling all over the world, from hiking in the southwest to in NYC and London. They never cease to catch a person's eye and they are a staple in my life. I just ordered a second pair in a diff color. Love them.

      Love, Love, Love

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I’m not usually one to post reviews, but I absolutely love these boots. I looked over reviews for weeks when trying to decide on a pair of hiking boots to buy for a big trip. I settled on these. I’m typically a size 8 and the 7.5 were a perfect fit. I wore them in casual day hikes in Moab and the Grand Canyon and more serious hikes in Iceland. They’re actually the only pair of shoes I wore in Iceland! Super lightweight and so so cute! They are also very durable. And I expect they’ll be warm enough for cold and snowy Kansas City winters. They’re also very comfortable and didn’t take any time to break in.

      Girlfriend Loves Them

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them. She likes how comfortable they are right out of the box and how they look. She didn't buy these for a hiking boot, more of a lounging around the fire shoe and they are perfect for that purpose.

Wanted to keep them but too big!

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I listened to what other reviewers said and ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my regular; I'm a true 9 and ordered an 8.5. These are still too long in that I have too much room in the toe box and the heel slips a bit. I'm sooooo bummed! I wanted these to be my new nature/urban hikers. Also, the 8.5 even looked big on me. So strange. For reference, I'm 5'6", 125 and have a medium/narrow'ish/flat foot. Based on the reviews, odds are still good they'll work out for most, I'm just terribly sad they weren't for me.

Love Love Love - but HOT!!!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these boots to wear in a ski shop where I am on my feet for 12 hours a day. I absolutely love them and they are VERY comfortable; I get compliment after compliment on them, to them point that I have to tell everyone about them! As other reviewers mentioned I sized down 1/2 size and they are perfect. The only thing is that they are absolutely the hottest shoes I have ever owned and I can't imagine actually hiking in them. These would be perfect if Forsake somehow added some ventilation without compromising style!!

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

These boots are super cute and lightweight, but they are huge and also very wide. I returned them and tried the Patch version as they no longer had any 10.5 in stock. Just got the Patch's in the mail today - they seem even bigger than the ones I just sent back. These will be going back as well and Im giving up on these boots - tired of paying for return shipping. Cute but not worth all this hassle.

      lightweight, stylish and versatile

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was worried. They said they ran big in sizes. I hummed and hawed. The closest store that sells them is a 1 hour drive and a 2 hr ferry trip from Vancouver. Off the screen and into a box and onto my feet and they fit like a glove. I usually wear a 7 and the 7 works. Super comfortable with room to wiggle my toe. Lightweight, flexible, good support. Apparently all the snow on the planet is coming to Vancouver in the next few days, so we'll see how they do. A pint of water over each foot rolled off. My only drawback from 5 stars is the "full grain leather" seems a little dubiously like a type of waterproofed fabric. Time will tell.

      Sick boots

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Super waterproof in low tide conditions, love the style! Took a day or two to break them in but never had any blisters or problems with the fit. They work great in slick conditions and have a great tread.

      Sneakerboots for the win!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I LOVE these boots and get a ton of compliments on them. I wear them in the rain and snow and they always keep my feet warm and dry. On top of that, they are super comfortable! They definitely tend to run a bit large - I'm normally a 10 but sized down to a 9.5, which fit perfectly. I recommend sizing at least a half-size down. These absolutely work for casual hiking, but I don't think I'd use them for strenuous hikes on tough terrain. Overall, a fantastic casual boot for everyday wear.

      Absolutely adore these boots!

I adore these boots! They are super comfortable, didn't even have to break them in! I read some of the other comments about the sizing, some of them say they run small but in my case they run true to size.
I've hiked on them a few times now and I really love them.

        Comfy out of the box

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I wanted to keep these however was looking for a more all around hiking specific shoe and chose to keep a different pair. But these were extremely comfortable right out of the box. Had I kept these I could see using them as my every day shoe

Great shoes, they do run large

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I ordered these and after some research on multiple sites, I decided to go a half size down. I'm almost always a 6.5 so I ordered a 6 and I'm sure glad i did!
These shoes are comfortable, waterproof and I get tons of compliments on them wherever I go. I highly recommended these boots. It's important to note that I'm using them more as everyday cruisers in Montana and NOT for long hikes.
