Perfect layer with lots of versatility

This layer fits perfectly under my Billie fly low shell and is cute enough to wear on its own around town or apres ski. I love the hoodie styling with long coverage in the rear. Warm but not too bulky. Ordered a small and works great under my size medium shell.

Petty much the best midlayer Iv'e ever invested in. Warm enough for the mountain, but stylish enough to wear off mountain too. LOVE IT.

To piggy back on my last question, if I go up a size is it baggy? I guess I don't know if I should size up a little or have it fit snug. I usually wear a Medium in baselayers.

Medium should be the best fit for you, on this mid-layer peice. However, I can cover the return shipping charges, if we need to try the large. Also, you can try both initially, and send back which ever size isn't right.

I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. I usually wear a medium. What size jacket do you think I should get?

Hey Alexandra, I'm 5'4'' and 140 lbs, usually a M in midlayers, usually size up to L for outerwear for mobility and I tried this in a Medium and liked it a lot, but would have had to go up to a Large if it was even 5% tighter. Hopefully that helps a little.

    Favourite layering piece!

The Tamara is probably my most worn piece in my closet. It's perfect to layer under a shell on cold days, packs up super small for trips, and my go to pretty much every time I leave the house. It's super light weight but resistant to the snow flakes. Plus it's mountain to street style keeps me warm and sleek at all time, with its semi hi-low and flattering lines! I have the night and canary jacket and people are constantly asking me where I got it.

    Best Mid-layer!

Flylow got it right. The Tamara is a perfectly cut micro puff that can be worn under a hardshell, and can stand alone when you want something a little lighter in weight - but absolute in warmth. I purchased the storm/purple jacket and I love the color. It's already started to cool off in the mountains and it's been my go-to layer for the peak. It's light and easy to pack. I like jackets with a little more room so I went for the L. It has a long fit so it covers your bum. Great for fall - can't wait to roll into winter with it.
